Providing enabling infrastructure
The Centre for Genomic Applications (TCGA) is a
multipurpose national facility set up as a public
private partnership which aims to provide affordable
high end research infrastructure and services to R & D
laboratories in private and public sectors and the
scientific community .TCGA has aimed to liberate
scientists from mundane operational activities of
managing research facilities by providing such sevices
on a "fee for service" basis.
Leveraging the network TCGA has forged relationships with key domestic and
international institutions. Due to its unique
lineage, it is able to draw on resources /
competencies from across the globe, which has led to
cutting down the research time and costs, critical
to positioning India as a key global player in life
sciences research. |
